Oha Soup 🍲

About this product

Oha soup is a delicious and traditional Nigerian soup made with fresh Oha leaves, thickened with cocoyam paste and cooked in a rich palm oil broth. It is usually prepared with assorted meats, stockfish, dry fish, and sometimes periwinkle, giving the soup a deep, savory flavor. Oha soup is known for its smooth, slightly thick texture and its unique, aromatic taste that makes it very satisfying. It is best enjoyed with swallows like pounded yam, eba, fufu, or semovita. A plate of Oha soup with swallow and meat can fairly sell for ₦3,500 – ₦5,000, depending on the portion size and the type of meat included. 🍲
